Philosophy

All Diekmann restaurants carry the signature of Josef Diekmann and his passion for French cuisine. He sources the ingredients for his restaurants from local farmers, hunters and fishermen in the Brandenburg region, whom he can rely on to deliver top quality, fresh products. The oysters on the menus in all Diekmann restaurants which give the oyster bar its name, are sourced directly from the oyster beds of Brittany and Ireland.

Josef Diekmann attaches particular importance to his wine lists. In addition to the great wine estates, which are obligatory on all wine lists, he also maintains good relationships with the smaller vineyards producing top quality wines in France, Germany and Austria, so that wine connoisseurs will always be able to discover a treat at Diekmann.
